Privacy notice

Who I am

I am Charlotte Crosby, a self-employed learning experience designer based in Nottingham. I am responsible for any personal information collected through this website.

What I collect

If you use the contact form, I receive your name, your email address, the type of project and timeline you choose, any budget you enter, and your message. I collect nothing else through the form.

Why, and on what basis

I use it to reply to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to agree the work. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me and, where you are asking about a possible contract, taking steps at your request before we agree one.

Who else handles it

The form is processed by Netlify, which hosts this website, and passed to me by email. Netlify and my email provider may process information outside the UK. I do not sell or share your details for marketing.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for up to 12 months and then delete them. If we work together, I keep what I need for my accounts and project records.

Cookies and similar technology

This website does not use cookies or analytics, and its fonts are served from the site itself, so nothing is passed to a font provider. The one thing worth knowing is that the Carbon Budget demo is built in Articulate Storyline, which can save your progress in your browser so you can resume.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. You can also object to how I use it. To do any of these, send me a message through the contact form. If you are unhappy with how I handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
